🚔Vehicle Pitting

PIT (Precision Immobilization Technique) maneuvers may be used during vehicle pursuits, but they must be performed responsibly and realistically. The goal is to end a pursuit safely, not to cause unnecessary destruction or unrealistic crashes.

All players involved in vehicle pursuits must value their vehicle, their life, and the lives of others on the road.

PIT Maneuver Speed Limit

  • PIT maneuvers are only permitted at speeds of 50 MPH or below.

  • Attempting to PIT a vehicle at higher speeds is considered unrealistic and dangerous and may result in administrative action.

  • Players must also consider road conditions, traffic, and surrounding areas before attempting a PIT.

Vehicle Boxing

  • Boxing a vehicle is permitted when three or more vehicles surround one target vehicle.

  • Once a vehicle is properly boxed in and has no realistic escape route, the driver must comply and stop the vehicle.

  • Continuing to force your way out of a complete box-in is considered Fail RP.

A proper box-in typically includes:

  • One vehicle in front

  • One vehicle behind

  • One vehicle blocking either side

Realistic Vehicle Use

Players must treat vehicles realistically and responsibly during pursuits.

  • Do not use unrealistic vehicles for aggressive pursuit tactics.

  • Consider the type, weight, and capability of your vehicle before attempting PITs or blocking maneuvers.

  • Recklessly destroying vehicles, performing unrealistic ramming, or ignoring the consequences of collisions may be treated as Low Quality RP or Fail RP.

Roleplay Expectations

During pursuits, players are expected to:

  • Maintain realistic driving behavior

  • Avoid excessive ramming or reckless tactics

  • Value their vehicle, life, and the safety of others

Vehicle pursuits should remain immersive, controlled, and roleplay-focused, rather than chaotic or unrealistic.

Staff Authority

Staff reserve the right to review pursuit situations and take administrative action if PIT or boxing mechanics are abused or used unrealistically.
