🩸Gang Bleed-Outs

Bleeding a member out of a gang (also known as a character removal from a gang) is a serious in-character action and must be handled through proper roleplay. This process represents the permanent removal of a character from a gang and should always be conducted with meaningful and believable RP.
Bleed-outs must never be rushed, forced without roleplay, or used as punishment for out-of-character issues.
Bleed-Out Roleplay Requirements
When a gang chooses to remove a member, the following must occur:
The bleed-out must be fully roleplayed and justified through in-character events.
The death or removal must be clearly witnessed by those involved.
There must be clear roleplay showing the character is permanently removed from the gang (e.g., execution, abandonment, or other believable resolution).
The scenario must include body disposal or clear evidence the character is gone to prevent unrealistic returns.
The entire scene must be recorded or logged in case staff need to review it.
Bleed-outs should be treated as major roleplay events, not quick mechanical actions.
After Being Blooded Out
If your character is blooded out of a gang, the following restrictions apply:
A 7-day cooldown must be observed before joining or starting another gang.
During this period, you may not participate in any gang roleplay.
You may continue playing as an independent character, including:
Legal jobs
Solo criminal activity
Personal roleplay
However, you may not:
Join another gang
Assist or represent another gang
Act as a runner or associate for another gang
This cooldown ensures the separation from the gang is meaningful and realistic.
Memory Wipe
After being blooded out, your character cannot remember any gang-related information, including:
Gang members
Gang leadership
Gang locations, compounds, or stash areas
Operations, activities, or internal conflicts
You may not attempt to recover this information through roleplay, and third parties may not remind or provide this information to you.
Attempting to regain this knowledge is considered metagaming and Fail RP.
After Bleeding Someone Out
If your gang removes a member through a bleed-out:
Your gang must wait 48 hours (2 days) before recruiting or adding any new members.
This prevents gangs from immediately replacing removed members and ensures decisions have consequences.
Bypassing Cooldowns
Players and gangs may not attempt to bypass these rules by:
Using alternate characters
Informally working with another gang during the cooldown
Acting as an unofficial associate or runner
Attempting to bypass bleed-out rules or cooldowns will be treated as Fail RP and may result in administrative action.
Enforcement
Gang bleed-out rules are strictly enforced.
No cooldowns will be waived under any circumstances.
Staff reserve the right to review bleed-out scenarios if concerns arise.
Staff decisions regarding violations are final.
These rules exist to ensure gang removals are serious, story-driven events with meaningful consequences, maintaining realism and high-quality gang roleplay across the city.
